Seethalakshmy Narayanan joined Premji Invest in 2021 and is a Vice President at the firm focusing on investments in Financial Services and Fintech sectors. She has 7+ years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity investing and has built significant expertise in identifying and backing business and entrepreneurs with long term potential. Currently, she helps lead investments in financial services and fintech businesses that challenge the status quo. Her key focus areas include insurance, lending, wealth management, payments, and banking infrastructure.
At Premji Invest, she has played a catalytic role in seven investments aggregating ~$ 300 million, across ConsumerTech, Healthcare, Financial Services and FinTech sectors while also driving levers for value creation across PI’s portfolio in these sectors. Notable among her achievements are key contributions to deals like Mintifi, Kreditbee follow on, Dezerv, TI Medtech platform, Globalbee, Firstcry follow on, SBI General insurance follow on, Smallcase.
Prior to joining Premji Invest, Seethalakshmy worked at Truenorth, one of the largest domestic private equity investment firms in India, where she focused on investments in Insurance and Consumer sector. Previously, she was at Investec, a global mid-market investment bank, where she advised businesses across sectors on fund raising and M&A.
She is passionate about working with founders with integrity and a desire to make an outsized and lasting impact.
