Bijith Bhaskar

Bijith Bhaskar is an operating partner of the India Private Markets Team at Premji Invest. He works closely with the Financial Services and FinTech teams, leveraging his extensive expertise to evaluate the digital capabilities and readiness of target companies. His goal is to help these companies scale and achieve profitability.

Bijith brings with him over 21 years of experience from ICICI Bank, where he led numerous initiatives in Digital Banking, Digital Payments, and Retail & SME Banking. In his most recent role as Head of Credit Cards, Digital Payments, Consumer Finance, Merchant Acquiring, and Startup Ecosystems, he positioned ICICI Bank as a leading player in the industry. His strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the digital banking and payments ecosystem in India. He has also held board positions in various companies, further solidifying his influence and impact in the sector. Before his tenure at ICICI Bank, Bijith worked with Ford India and Xerox, gaining valuable experience in retail sales and supply chain management. He holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Trichur, and a postgraduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai.
