Anshuman Atri

Anshuman is part of the public markets team, covering a range of sectors, including Healthcare, Materials, Capital Goods, Telecom, and Oil & Gas. Passionate about markets, he works on fundamental and quant-based analysis to generate new investment ideas. He is a keen student of Artificial Intelligence with a particular focus on practical applications in finance and investments. Before joining Premji Invest, he worked at Haitong Securities, ICICI Bank and SAP Labs. Much of his professional career, extending over fifteen years, has been spent in the area of investing.

A polyglot, Anshuman has a great love for languages. He is a certified Mandarin speaker, having cleared five out of six levels of the Chinese proficiency test ‘Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi.’ His other interests include exploring the realms of Natural Language Processing, Automation, and Generating Alternative Data Sets.

Anshuman has an excellent academic record, completing his Bachelor's (Information Technology, BMSCE, Bangalore) and two-year MBA program from IIM Indore with top honours. A certified Financial Analyst (CFA Institute Virginia), Anshuman has completed multiple courses in Artificial Intelligence & Deep Learning, including the ones offered by “Deeplearning.AI by Andrew Ng”.
