Vikash Rathi leads India Healthcare Investments and is currently focused on creating multiple Medtech platforms. He led our investment in TI Medical, a Medical Consumable Platform launched by PI in partnership with Tube Investments of India.
Previously, he led the Portfolio Finance function for Financials, Consumer and Healthcare Verticals, where he supported investment execution and portfolio management. He was deeply involved in the investments in TVS Credit, Sleep Company, Giva and Mintify. Also, he worked closely on executing our divestments in some of our key holdings.
Prior to joining Premji Invest, Vikash was Senior Vice President at Kalaari Capital, where he led the Portfolio Management and Controllership Function for the various Kalaari Funds. At Kalaari, Vikash mentored early-stage startups on finance and business strategy and closely supported the investment partners in their value-creation efforts for the portfolio.
He was earlier the CFO of Redbus, the World’s Largest Bus Ticketing Platform. At Redbus, he scaled a sub-optimal finance function to support exponential growth and actively partnered with business to unlock various cost and revenue optimization levers. Vikash started his career at KPMG, where he was amongst the youngest engagement managers during his time.
Vikash is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business Hyderabad.
