Ritesh is the Head of Internal Audit. With 20 years of audit experience in the financial services industry, his mandate is to set up an internal audit function to enhance and protect organisational values by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. Ritesh has deep expertise in understanding the business and regulatory dynamics of the financial services sector. His role is to help the organisation achieve its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
During his five-year stint with Bajaj Finance Limited, Ritesh led various strategic initiatives across the audit function, including the implementation of risk-based internal audit, fintech audit, leveraging data analytics, excelling Customer Service and experience, and managing regulatory relationships. He also played a vital role in setting the internal audit functions for group entities. Ritesh has spent 14 years with the Big 4 Audit Firms in India and abroad. During this period, he effectively managed risk, quality, and engagement economics of various financial services clients, supported public & private placement of securities and played a key role in practice management, knowledge, and revenue management roles across the firm.
Ritesh is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI with a Bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University.
