Ramesh is the Chief Digital Officer and steers our technology and data strategies, besides conceptualising digital transformation initiatives at portfolio companies and governing its implementation. He also evaluates new investment opportunities in the technology space. A widely respected business technology leader with over three decades of global experience, Ramesh was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Cloud Practice at Wipro. He had earlier served as the Chief Information Officer of Wipro. His early career was with GE Medical Systems, where he focussed on software development and program management for medical devices.
Ramesh works at the intersection of business and technology to accelerate growth. Over the years, he has ideated and built multiple technology practices. A specialist in conceiving and managing very large programs comprising various technology streams, Ramesh has rich experience working with large global enterprises across multiple horizontal technology practices and vertical domains.
A gold medallist, he completed his Masters in System Sciences and Automation from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Ramesh is a Yoga enthusiast and is keenly interested in the Sanskrit language.
