Suresh Vasudevan

Suresh (he/him) was most recently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sysdig, Inc. (2018–2024), where he led the company’s transformation from a Kubernetes troubleshooting startup into a leader in cloud security. Under his leadership, Sysdig grew its revenue twentyfold, serving hundreds of global enterprises and tens of thousands of open-source users as Sysdig's open-source project, Falco, evolved into the industry standard for runtime cloud-native threat detection.

Prior to Sysdig, Suresh was President and CEO of Nimble Storage, Inc. (2011–2017), guiding the company from its early stages through a successful IPO and eventual acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Nimble became a pioneer in predictive analytics for infrastructure management and a leader in next-generation flash storage, reaching over $500 million in annual revenue and serving more than 10,000 customers.

Earlier in his career, Suresh was CEO of Omneon (acquired by Harmonic Inc.) and spent a decade at NetApp, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s products from its NAS roots into a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise storage systems and software. He began his career as a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Co., working in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chicago.

Suresh holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
