our story
Founded by generosity. Driven by possibility.
Since 2001, Azim Premji, Founder Chairman of Wipro, has irrevocably donated a majority of his wealth to create an endowment funding the Azim Premji Foundation. Premji Invest was formed to grow the endowment and support the Foundation's activities in perpetuity.
The Premji Foundation runs deep, on-the-ground work across India within education and healthcare. The Foundation's Field Institutions are spread across 7 Indian states with over 350,000 schools.
